How do the sessions work?

In executive coaching sessions we take a look at what is working smoothly in your life and what areas you are feeling stuck, immobile or simply afraid to step up to the challenge.

We examine what patterns seem to be repetitive in your life and career. The goal is to help you “unlock” these blocked areas. The work is much like computer repair:

When sitting at a computer, we pull up Word Perfect. Imagine that every time you open this program a virus appears. This is very similar to what happens to each of us.

You want ‘A’ but ‘B’ keeps showing up. With all your best efforts you try to get rid of ‘A’ but it pops up at every turn. Sometimes you can fix a virus by sitting at the keyboard. This is the Executive Coaching sessions.

Sometimes you need to open the back of the computer and go into the motherboard. This is the Individual Executive Intensive.

Two minds are better than one in any situation. As an intuitive I can assist you in getting inside the “mind” of any obstacle you face. Understanding how another is thinking, their needs, and their motivations is a powerful tool to help you get where you want to go.

One banking executive called while on her way to negotiate a 60 million dollar contract with a man in South Florida. She had flown in from New York and was traveling by car to meet the gentleman on his estate.

She called me to see if there were any suggestions I had about how to talk to this man to get him to “yes.” I asked her to review her strategy. She said, ”He has got to say yes. It’s a simple argument. He has 60 million dollars in unprotected assets. I am going to tell him all the things he will lose if something happens to him while these assets are unprotected.”

Her reasoning seemed logical but I asked her to describe the man’s physical body, his voice etc. She mentioned that he was a big man with a barrel chest and a booming voice. Her description let me know that this man was a “Warrior,” from my book the Passion Principle.

I told her that he would not sign the contract based on “what was good for him” because he had some deeper issues that made him reckless and a bit self-destructive. I told her to talk about what would happen to his dependents if he died without signing the contract. I knew as a “Warrior” he would follow through and sign in order to take care of his family members. This changed the face of the conversation and she got him to say “yes.”
